    BOATMAIDS
has a price list for detailing, as no two boats are the same at any given time. Each boat reflects the care its owner takes, and must be inspected personally to realize what will do the detailing job in the most advantageous manner for the Owner and Detailer.

A valid written inspection must be made before a valid quote can be offered. At BOATMAIDS, INC. we have been doing that for 7 years. My boat owners know what to expect from us, and we are held to a high standard.

Our technically trained staff is the best ever (like wine, they grow better with age!). If you are at my site for the first time, you will find that BOATMAIDS, INC. (a Florida Corporation, licensed in Cape Coral and Lee County, FL) does what it says it will do on the written quotation tendered before every detail job.

Remember our Motto: "WE DON'T CUT CORNERS, WE CLEAN 'EM"

We want to keep you as a customer for as long as you own a boat.

    BASIC DETAILING FACTS

It takes time and effort to make your vessel look and keep on looking good. Since the sun degrades the gelcoat, you can know it is time to do something, when you run your hands over the surface of the boat and they have white powder on them, and the fiberglass is rough, not smooth.

    Any expert will recommend:

    a. No white powder: just a thorough washing and an application of a good fiberglass wax. Repeat the wash/wax in 3/4 months

    b. Light coating of powder(moderate oxidation): a thorough washing and an application of 3M Restorer/wax. Repeat the wash/wax in 3/4 months.

    c. Heavily coated with white powder and uneven surface: You need compounding: fiberglass cleaner, pumice, and wax; a very labor intensive effort using high-speed buffers. Repeat wash/wax process in 3/4 months. DO NOT COMPOUND AGAIN!

When BOATMAIDS washes your vessel, it is all inclusive: decks, glass, seats, windows, instrument panels, opening and washing all hatches, etc. Polishing chrome is included, as is the removal of all rust and mold. Heavy amounts of rust and mold require more labor, and hence a higher than normal cost basis.

Sanitation is paramount, especially in sleeping quarters, the head, and galley. Particular attention is always given to those areas by our detailers.. Bulkheads on the inside of the vessel are always washed and waxed as well.
